2018 was a challenging year for ThinkGeek’s April Fools. April 1st happened to fall on a Sunday. Easter Sunday. In the middle of Passover. To combat the lower anticipated traffic, The Conception Crew pitched product ideas to licensing partners for approval and support. For the first time in company history, the majority of April Fools products launched in partnership with fan-favorite geek culture creators.
I pitched the idea for the Quest Management Kit and managed the project to completion. We collectively developed a marketing campaign for all products, and I executed the social media and public relations portions.
